The sky is like a human being
As you fall in love with it, you want to note every little thing
You find yourself growing up with it
You're both so beautifully changing
Always just in time
To be in time with everything
Wind, rain, dark, light
All of these are what it brings
The sky is like a human being
Mercurial from day to day
Different in different ways depending on the course it takes
Bright sunlight or lightning strike
Giving as much as it takes
The sky is like a human being
A complex and simple thing
I like to look into its eyes
And very gently sing
Oftentimes I pass the time
With it only waiting
For the next moment to arrive
Each one is so breathtaking
