Candlelight

Gather yourself up, we’re going on

Wake up little one, it’s already the dawn

And it’s alright if you find you might hesitate

To set your foot on the rock, rollin through space

It’s magical, you can take any way you choose

And as people sometimes we think that it don't matter

But there are laws that prove, with or without a book

Don’t let anything tell you not to look for the truth

But seek until you find

The dawn after the night

Careful with the mind

Use that fire for candlelight

The power of the truth has ways of getting to you

Every day it’s speaking through all the little things happening

It’s giving us a chance to learn through living

There was a time I didn’t respect the time

It was around the time I was looking for another meaning to life

And there are mysteries that are not for all of us to know

There’s a power in our breathing and a power that makes it so

Whether or not believing, there’s a love that makes us grow

Do not be deceived by a part of you that isn’t sure

But search until you find

It’s there, in your heart

Telling you be patient and be kind

Just like it did from the start
